Welcome to the only OFFICIAL Swansea University Freshers 2018!

You’re finally here. Whether we were your first choice, or you ended up here because that place at Oxford didn’t quite work out, you're gonna love it.

It’s time to forget about the fam and mute their group chat. Nobody can be bothered to continuously say, “Yes, Auntie Linda, the library's great and the beach is a wonderful place to sit and read”. We all know that’s BS because let’s face it – you won't be spending any time in the library during Freshers. 

Freshers is two weeks of absolute carnage. Some of the highlights will include wondering why there’s sweat dripping from the Sin City ceiling and why your shoes are stuck to the floor in Rebound. But don't worry, not all the events will leave you hanging the next morning.

So, come and get involved. Turn up to every pre-drinks and ask everyone’s name and what they study – even if it happens 2,584,197 times in the first week. You’re never going to remember that Kevin studies Geography, but that won't matter.

Don’t forget, Freshers Fortnight is NOT just for freshers! It doesn’t matter what age you are, you can still have a laugh, especially when you’re watching the other people already sleeping on the pavement because, let’s face it, they don't have your experience. Maybe you ‘oldies’ could even give them a bit of advice. So, whether you’ve just started or you're about to go into your final year at this magnificent university, Freshers Fortnight is the way to start your year off right.
