Important event update...

Following consultation with Leicester Racecourse, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the Student Race Day on Tuesday 26th May 2020. This decision has not been taken lightly, but unfortunately for a number of reasons due to the Covid-19 pandemic, this has become our only option given the health and safety of yourself, your fellow students, our event staff, the Racecourse staff and the wider community must be our top priority at this time.

We apologise for any inconvenience or disappointment this may cause. Anyone who has purchased a ticket for this event will be automatically refunded, so you do not need to apply for a refund, this will just happen.

We are however excited to announce that this event will be back bigger and better than ever next year, and are delighted to confirm that the Student Race Day will be taking place on Tuesday 1st June 2021 at Leicester Racecourse! We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible then!

For now please all look after each other by following the social distancing rules. Stay at home, protect the NHS, save lives.

A festival of Horse Racing, Live DJs, entertainment & much more!

Students from all over the midlands are welcome to join us in a festival of Horse Racing, Entertainment, Live Band & DJs, and much more!

Dating back to 1883, Leicester Racecourse plays host to huge annual events such as Ladies Day where thousands of people enjoy a fun filled day of racing, entertainment and drinks! Last year we launched our Student Race Day, which was a spectacular success, so this year we go BIGGER AND BETTER!

Tickets include bus travel to the racecourse from advertised locations.

Our gates open at midday with the first race starting at 2.10pm, so make sure you get in early so you don’t miss a thing! The last race will be at 5.10pm, the After Party including a Live Band on an outdoor stage will then start at 6pm and carry on until 9pm!
