Black History Month: Diversity Games

As part of the Students' Union's Black History Month celebrations, we are proud to announce the first Diversity Games on Campus.

We are inviting all students to get involved in this fantastic day of sports participation and celebration of the history of black culture in sports.

The day will see 7 accessible activities played by all to find out who will be the Diversity Games champions for 2017. 

These activities are:

- Basketball Challenge

- Baton Relay

- Bean Bag Race

- Obstacle Course

- Space Hopper Race

- Tug of War

Each team will consist of 5 players, but we encourage signing up for a team on your own, so that in the spirit of diversity and inclusivity that this is a less competitive but as enjoyable sports day!

We have especially named the teams after some of the greatest black sports stars in history, so take your pick on who you would want to represent and book yourself a spot! 

Please advise: The USSU will not be responsible for any injury sustained during the games, please wear suitable clothing/footwear for it and please ensure you act responsibly throughout for your own and others safety.
