Courage Boxing 2

COURAGE BOXING is  a LGBT white-collar boxing event held to help raise funds for AKT (The Albert Kennedy Trust).

The Charity

AKT are the national LGBTQ+ youth homelessness charity. They support the community by providing Safe homes, mentoring, training, advocacy and support to young people who are homeless or living in a hostile environment after coming out to those around them, with the aim of creating better futures for lgbtq+ young people. No young person should have to choose between a safe home and being who they are.

Pride Boxing

Pride Boxing has run 3 very successful annual events in association with Pride in London. They have in fact been so successful with so many people wanting to get involved that we are now bringing you our 2nd Courage Boxing for even more LGBT+ White Collar boxing action.
 
The feedback from 2019's Pride boxing and our first Courage event has been overwhelming. Courage boxing aims to maintain the safe and comfortable space for all members of the LGBT+ community to take part in the challenging and enjoyable sport of Boxing.

This is a Safe Space for taking part in LGBT+ Sport.  
 

I've never boxed before , can I take part? 

Yes! No boxing experience is needed to take part and we encourage everyone to take part in this prestigious event.Those who register will be matched with an opponent of similar ability, weight and fitness level to ensure a fair contest

Receive 8 Weeks free boxing training to prepare for the event! All that we ask is that you pay a training deposit of £25 which is refunded after the event on the condition that you have sold 10 tickets to the event.  

Training begins on Tuesday 21st January 2020 at Cobra Gym Victoria under Professional Coach and World title holder Jon Durrant, British commonwealth European and world champion. Trainer to Olympic and international elite amateur boxers, to professional WBC boxing champion,to Mma and kickboxing champions Bellator and Iska ranked.

We encourage everyone to take part in this prestigious event and are taking applications NOW!
Those who register will be matched with an opponent of similar ability, weight and fitness level to ensure a fair contest.

What you receive:

– 16 core group sessions & access to over 100 bonus boxing and conditioning sessions
– 3x 2 minute round amateur fight against an equally matched opponent
– Fighter profiles, create a nickname & choose your entrance music

Your 8 weeks training and participation are free.
The £25 sign-up deposit is 100% refunded once 10 tickets are sold. 
Part of all Ticket proceeds go towards Albert Kennady Trust and each guest is asked to fundraise £50.
