This prodigious group of men and their unique take on Classic Rock songs have been creating a buzz in the North West England pub/club scene ever since their creation in 2015.

Company of Strangers are made up of five very experienced musicians from a variety of musical styles. They were formed in mid-2015 with an initial line up consisting of Lead Guitarist Mick Walsh, Bassist, Tony Cooper and Drummer Ian Fletcher, who were wishing to create a set of Classic Rock covers that are not often heard but, are well known to the audience.

The summer of 2015 saw the final line up, created with the introduction of Steve Taylor as an additional Lead Guitar player and Anthony Hammond on Vocals. 

It soon became clear during rehearsals that CoS had the talent and the will to become one of the more exceptional bands on the circuit. The band's sound developed from a unique combination of electronic drums, dynamic dual lead guitar work from the six string section, outstanding bass guitar and superb vocals.

"At first we just had this classic rock revival thing in mind", Recalls Tony, "But, when Steve came along, we soon found we were creating a unique edge to some of the best classic rock songs around.”

Company of Strangers are well on their way to becoming firmly established on the pub and club circuit and will no doubt, be acknowledged for their stage performance and style of music, but most of all for their sense of enjoyment on and off stage.
