There will be exclusive live performances from Circa Waves, Lewis Capaldi and Black Honey.

Lisa Wright – Lisa is the Features Editor for DIY magazine most recently working with bands such as Slaves, Idles and Black Honey. Lisa is also a freelance journalist working with Time Out, Noisey and NME.

After a run of summer festivals, Kieran and Joe from Circa Waves will be doing a special acoustic performance for us. They will also be chatting to BBC Radio 1 DJ Greg James about their success and the people that have helped them along the way.
PANEL DISCUSSION: Music Curation
What is a Music Curator? How do they decide on music for playlist or a gig line-up? How do you get a job in it? How do you get your music heard by curators? All questions answered by the experts detailed below with more to be announced;
Jasmine Srih – At just 25, Jasmine is a curator at global live dance music streaming platform, Boiler Room. Jasmine puts on regular events across UK with full control of the line-up.
Rob Khan – Rob is currently with Parlophone Records as Music Streaming Lead helping to shape streaming campaigns for the likes of David Guetta, Lily Allen, Mac Miller, Bebe Rexha, Gorillaz and more. Previously he worked for Spotify curating playlists with a combined reach of 8.5 million.

Our panel will discuss the work that goes into pulling together live music events and festivals. They will explore the roles available in this industry and the different paths to get there. Panellists already confirmed are;
Sally Bryant – Sally is a Promoter at Leeds based live events company Futuresound Group. Futuresound deliver a range of amazing events in the North including Slam Dunk Festival and Live at Leeds.
Meredith ‘Meds’ Peterson – As Operations Manager at ‘From the Fields’, Meds has worked on the organisation of some of the North’s most loved festivals including Kendall Calling and Bluedot.
