The Fatsoma rep system allows you to take advantage of one of the most valuable forms of marketing, the one that consumers trust above all others and the one that is most likely to drive sales for your company. Word of mouth (according to Nielsen, 92% of consumers believe recommendations from friends and family over all forms of advertising).

Proven to increase ticket sales on average by 20%, the concept is simple. We allow you to incentivise your most influential customers to promote your events online through social networks such as Twitter and Facebook and directly to their friends through messaging apps such as WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger and via text message.


How does it work?

Getting started with reps is easy:

  1. Set rep incentives
    When adding your event, simply set a rep incentive (usually 10% of the ticket price).
  2. Recruit reps
    There are several ways you can build your rep team. You can invite reps via email, post links to your page on social media or by emailing your existing customer database.
  3. Track sales
    Once reps are set up you can keep track of any sales in the Fatsoma control panel.

To get the most out of the rep system, we recommend you do all of the above. However, if you decide not to, simply by using Fatsoma to promote and sell tickets for your events you will start to receive rep requests.

How much commission should I offer?
This is completely up to you although we recommend 10% of the ticket price.

How do reps get paid?
Three days after each event has taken place, the reps will be paid automatically. You can see a full breakdown of rep sales and commissions in the finance section.

Can I control who is a rep?
Of course. Depending on the rep setting you can either auto approve, or manually approve rep requests. You can also remove reps at any time.
