History of Video Games VOL 2

History of Video Games is back - with a brand new summer edition that we are calling Volume 2!

After a fantastic run over the Easter Holidays at Edinburgh's Ocean Terminal Shopping Centre, we are back by popular demand!

History of Video Games Volume 2 is 3 times the size of our Easter event, we have more room, for more games and more cool things, all the information is below.

History of Video Games is a unique hands on video games experience that is aimed at Families and Video Games Fans to come together and play classic vintage retro arcade machines from over 30 years ago right through to the present day, alongside a curated history of Home Video Game Consoles, taking in the 8 bit Sega Master Systems, the Nintendo Entertainment system through to the 16bit megadrive and SNES through to the 32bit revolution of Playstation, Game Cube, Sega Saturn and much much more.

You pay to get in and all the games are free to play! So book your session today!

With more space! and so we have organised the event as follows...

Arcade Zone - In this zone we step back in time, back over 30 years ago to the earliest arcade machines, all ready and set to free play so you can play as much as you like - From Space Invaders, through to Donkey Kong, through to 90s classics like Out Run and After Burner - this zone will take you back in time and set you up ready for..

8 bit Zone - The Nintendo Entertainment System, complete with Zapper Gun for some Duck Hunt fun, or how about playing Super Mario Brothers 3 on the original console, or maybe you where a Sega fan, don't worry we have the Master System and so much more!

16 bit Zone - The early 90s saw the console wars between Sega and Nintendo hot up - with Sega having titles like Sonic, Streets of Rage 2 and Ecco the Dolphin pitting alongside Street Fighter 2, Mario Kart and Donkey Kong Country - are you a Sega kid or a Nintendo kid!

32bit and more Zone - Along Came the Playstation, along came Lara Croft and along came the Nintendo 64, with Mario Kart and Zelda and many more classics, in this zone we explore the early next generation consoles which includes the Sega Saturn and the Nintendo Game Cube with a whole host of games to play.

Future Zone - With the next generation consoles of Sony Playstation 4 and Xbox one, alongside the Nintendo Switch once again changing the Video Games Market, what are these immersive next generation games like - we will have new release games and exclusive events for you to play all summer!

and finally, we also have a Video Game Cinema and Handheld Zone!
