Black-tie Charity Fundraising Dinner with Jason Manford

John Hitchin, Kevin Smith and Dave Phillips - collectively known as 4 The Boys - are cycling from London to Amsterdam in a bid to raise vital funds for the charity PAPYRUS, which helps the prevention of young suicide. Unfortunately over the years, they have lost some good friends and family to suicide and they’d like to raise awareness of the issue and also raise some money for a great charity.

Bootleggers Events are working alongside 4 The Boys and award-winning British comedian Jason Manford, to raise money and awareness for this amazing cause and will be hosting a Black Tie Charity Dinner consisting of a three-course meal and a night of comedy at The Buttermarket, Shrewsbury on Friday 15 May.

The event will feature Jason Manford doing a small comedy set with a meet and greet and not purely Jason running and doing a comedy night for the whole event, so please be aware of this when buying a ticket.

6.30pm - Guests arrive at The Buttermarket
7.00pm - Three-course meal is served
8.00pm - Jason Manford live comedy set
9.00pm - Meet and greet with Jason Manford (price will be set on the night for this)
9.30pm - Auction
11.30pm - After-party at The Alb, Shrewsbury with DJs, dancing and more drink
2.00am - Leave The Alb knowing you have had an amazing time and have raised money which could save someone's life.

We are cycling in the memory of four people that mean a lot to us all who are Kerr Farmer, Mike Phillips, Jack Farrington and Andy Davies.

We are cycling 360 miles based over 4 days:

DAY 1 London to Calais Approx. 95 miles cycling
DAY 2 Calais to Bruges Approx. 80 miles cycling
DAY 3 Bruges to Breda Approx. 95 miles cycling
DAY 4 Breda to Amsterdam Approx. 90 miles cycling

Each year there will be a different challenge, so if you are interested in getting involved please get in touch with us.

We are still looking for sponsorship, raffle prizes and auction prizes for this event, so if you are interested please send an email to info@bootleggersevents.co.u
