Welfare@CampusLife would like to invite you to one of our Student Plus welcome events.
The Student Plus programme aims to support student carers, care leavers, commuter students, mature students, student parents, students who are estranged from their family or someone who is just coming back from a period of suspension.
We recognise that those within the Student Plus programme may have different needs than the rest of the student population and taking that into consideration, we would like to invite you to a welcome day so you can listen to talks from Student Services, the Student's Union and Academics tailored for you. It will also give you the opportunity to meet people, ask questions to a wide-range of University staff and start to make plans for your first year as a Swansea University student.
0-30 minutes – Introduction and icebreakers
30-90 minutes – Key note speakers and questions from Welfare@CampusLife, Wellbeing and CONNECT, Student’s Union, Centre for Academic Success, Travel, the Student Plus society and an academic
90-110 minutes – General Q+A
110-120 minutes – Round up
This event will be done online and a Zoom invite will be sent to you following on from registration.
This event is limited to a certain number so be sure to sign up quickly if you wish to attend and please notify us if you cannot attend so we can allocate the ticket to somebody else.
