Description:

Come with us to visit the magnificent, beautiful, ancient and enchanting city of Bath.

The city was founded by the Romans in the year 60CE and has been an important city ever since. The Roman Baths are some of the best preserved and most intricate in the world - still filled by natural hot springs to this day, it is an essential sight to see, and also features a Roman temple and museum - take a look at The Roman Baths Website for info and to book a place for the day!

Bath is a really magical place to visit over the festive season, with an independent artisan market in Queen Square, the beautiful Bath Abbey Market, and a number of stalls where you can treat yourself to trinkets, goodies and delicious food. Not only this, but there will be street entertainment and carol singing to set you in the festive mood.

You can also take in a wonderful illumination trail of the iconic and historic buildings of Bath, should you wish to take a break from shopping and wonder around and just enjoy the wonderful sights.

As the city is 2,000 years old, you will find so many things to see and do - we also recommend the amazing Bath Abbey which is also hosting the spectacular 'Museum of The Moon' during December.

We would suggest that you book your tickets online in advance for thing you'd like to see and do, as it can get busy. For more ideas of things to do and places to visit in Bath head to the Visit Bath Website

We hope you'll come along on this delightful day away!

*UPDATE!*

We've also organised a Meet-Up Mixer for those of you who are coming along to Bath - it's a chance to meet up with others coming on the trip and plan your day. Head here for info - GO! Social: Meet-Up Mixer - Festive Bath at The Griffin, Swansea on 30th Nov 2021 | Fatsoma
