Freshers week is upon us!

Empire Events and Revolution would like to officially welcome you to University in style. Welcome, to Korean Club York ❤️

It’s been one hell of a journey and an even better summer. We're excited to return to York with our Korean Club event for the new semester. As part of the Welcome Event, we’d like to invite you to the first University Korean event of the first semester of 2022. With everyone returning to education, the theme of the event is BACK TO SCHOOL, so get on your school uniform, your pigtails up, pens in one hand and a Jagerbomb in the other (no briefcases pls), and prepare for a night of madness! The uniform is optional, but if you do participate, bring a pen and wear a shirt you don’t mind ruining as we write on eachother like it’s our final day!

This will be a great opportunity to meet like-minded fans of K Pop and K HipHop, as well as letting go of any worries of moving to a new city and make new friends! This may be a great way to show off your skills too!

We will be throwing a K-Pop party on a monthly basis. After this, the next Korean Event will be a Halloween Party on Tuesday 25th October. We're eager to see returning, as well as new faces!

▬ ABOUT EMPIRE PROJECT ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

What do we do?

We don’t just host Top Chart and Kpop nights.

We are a group of friends with a passion for music and K-Pop, and we have run club nights for the last 7 years. We comprise of DJs, University Society committee members, Undergrads and Graduates. For the last 3 years, we have been helping different University societies throw K-Pop parties throughout term time.

We are K-pop fans and DJs who assist University societies and club venues into putting on their own K-Pop events at a time that suits them so they don’t have to rely on external promoters and their more restricted schedules and locations.

We’ve helped Uni societies and clubbing venues start brand new K-pop events, as well as provide DJs for existing ones. We also take pride in training new K-Pop DJs that we see has shown enough passion into this career path. We also like to promote and push all K-pop events happening at the time. Cause the more the merrier, meaning meeting more like minded friendly people.
