ABOUT LITTLE ACORN PRODUCTIONS

The Little Acorn Productions have been touring for the last few years at schools and non-traditional theatre venues, bringing their established family panto to as many people as possible across Yorkshire and beyond.

Their mission is to offer professional theatrical entertainment at affordable prices so families can enjoy a magical Christmas event.

An experienced writer and director, Little Acorn’s Sarah Barker has been working in Pantomime for around 20 years, and brings all her experience along with casting young, energetic and talented performers.

All shows include everything you'd expect, including the classic heroes and villains of the Aladdin story, great songs, corny jokes, water pistols, and of course plenty of “He’s behind you!”

The pantomime integrates lots of audience participation, with much for the children to enjoy, alongside plenty of nail-biting moments of peril, before our hero ultimately prevails in the end.

ABOUT THE BALLROOM

A grand and fabulous historic venue that has played host to all manner of dinners, dances and live performances for almost a century, and after substantial investment, has opened its doors to host special events and private hire functions once again. The Empress Ballroom dates to the 1920s and still features the original high ceilings and ornate décor. However, the main feature is the vintage ballroom sprung dance floor.

This is an exclusive ticket event only, so early booking is recommended, with attendance expected to be around 200 + people, each of whom will be guaranteed, amazing atmosphere and a memorable afternoon of fun and entertainment.
