Exploiting Innovation

Join RTC North’s Wayne Bryant and Andy Taylor as they talk all about Managing the Innovation Process and Managing IP.

Wayne has been with RTC for seven years, his four of these years were spent working with NHS Trusts to develop IP strategies, grow IP Portfolios and begin to exploit some of research for commercial gain, following on from this he provided innovation consultancy to over 150 SME’s through the Pathways to Innovation project. Wayne will talk about the importance of IP business and the important factors of IP that all businesses should consider.

Andy has been at RTC for 13 years and started by working as an Enterprise Europe Network advisor helping businesses to exploit technology through internationalisation and grant funding. He is a Materials Scientist and Nanotechnologist and spent a number of years developing new products for high tech sectors such as optical communications, brand protection and defence. More recently he has delivered Innovation Management coaching as part of Innovate UK EDGE services and is Team Leader for RTC North’s Yorkshire and Humber office.

Andy will talk about embedding innovation as a process within your business and the different aspects of successfully exploiting innovation.
