U18s CHRISTMAS BALL - About Last Night - HALO Bournemouth

ABOUT LAST NIGHT U18s returns for a special CHRISTMAS BALL event with DJs Tempa, Fabz, Switcher & Rosa Shaw! 

This event with SELL OUT in advance! There will be a high demand for tickets! 

BOURNEMOUTH’s biggest & best under 18s clubbing experience! Taking place in the South Coast’s most iconic nightclub - HALO - with state of the art sound & lighting technology, featuring some of the best local DJ’s as well as special appearances and performances from famous names in the UK music scene.

Doors open 5pm for general sale tickets. 
Doors open half an hour earlier at 4:30pm for VIP ticket holders only. 

VIP queue will close at 5pm and all ticket holders will queue and enter via the normal queue. This is to prevent queuing across the front of local businesses 222 Coffee and Weatherspoon’s pub Moon On The Square.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PARENTS:

Children must be aged between 14 & 17 years old to attend! Under 14s are not permitted to enter the premises and the venue and event management teams will not accept responsibility for the safety of your children if they are under 14 years of age. Please be a responsible parent and DO NOT purchase tickets for your children if they are younger than 14 as they will not be permitted entry and tickets will not be refunded. 

We operate a 100% search policy at every U18s event and all children will be asked to empty their pockets and will be given a once over with a metal detector wand. Complete bag, purse and wallet searches also take place. 

The safety of your children at our events is of the utmost importance and we pride ourselves on being able to deliver a fun and safe environment for them to enjoy themselves.

HALO Bournemouth and About Last Night Events are committed first and foremost to ensuring the safety of all children attending our events! We have delivered so far in 2022 no fewer than 17 events for children ages 14-17 years old, all ending without any major incident. However, considering recent tragic events in another city, we will be implementing new safety measures to ensure your children can party with us in a fun and more importantly safe environment.

We have partnered with Viking K9 Protection Services to provide us with professionally trained search dogs, one Labrador and one Springer Spaniel, to reduce the possibility of any illegal substances being taken into the venue. These dogs may operate both outside and inside the venue. It is a condition of entry that every child must pass by these dogs before entering the premises. Any drugs found will be seized full details of the child will be given to Dorset Police and entry will be refused.

We also have in place a breathalyser this will be used both at the discretion and at random by our professional security staff to reduce the possibility of entering the venue after having consumed any alcohol. Accepting a test on the breathalyser if asked to do so is a condition for entry to the premises. A positive test to any alcohol will result in refusals to the venue.

We have discussed our concerns with Dorset Police. They have advised that all young people attending any event should be able to contact their parent/guardian at any time. Whether this is via their own mobile phone or having contact details with them; parents must ensure that they know where their children are at all times. Parents should also ensure their prompt and safe collection at the conclusion of the event or agree travel arrangements with them in advance. If any young people require support they must speak with the organisers or their staff or contact Dorset Police via 101 / 999 in an emergency.

These measures are in place with the sole purpose of increasing the safety of your child/children at our events. .

If you disagree with any of the above and wish to have tickets refunded then please do so before the day of the event by requesting a refund directly through Fatsoma.
