Shipwreck Sundays Night 2

Black Glitter Music Promotion is proud to present Shipwreck Sundays at The Captain’s Cabin, two nights showcasing the finest underground talent from Scotland’s music scene in support of the Tayside Health Fund.

For Night Two on the 24th of April, we’re amping up and bringing you a showcase of fresh alternative rock talent. Headlining is Dundee power trio Blind Unicorn whose debut album ‘Weekend Warriors’ is a fist-pounding marriage of punchy rock riffs and techno synthesisers into a union of pure adrenaline that fans of Muse and Don Broco will fall head over heels over.

Support will come from fellow Dundonians Uganda's Moonshine Epidemic whose debut EP ‘Power’ is filled with frenzied blasts of distortion living up to its title. Indie four-piece Red Vanilla will kick off proceedings with their irresistibly cool slacker pop, and Edinburgh grunge trio Soundmind will kick off the night with fuzz and swagger in equal measure.

All profits raised from these shows will be donated to the Tayside Health Fund. The Tayside Health Fund is a registered charity that supports NHS Tayside hospitals and services, with donations being used for the following purposes:

- Buying extra items for patients which will make their visit or stay more comfortable.

- Supporting major projects, such as a new unit, an extension or a facility upgrade.

- Introducing new pioneering ways of delivering care.

- Supporting new medical research.

- Supporting Volunteer Services.

- Supporting extra educational and training opportunities for staff.

- Providing additional support to patients in the community.
