Rescue Mission
Here in Bulgaria, the government policy permits abandoned dogs that have been taken off the streets to be thrown onto garbage tips when the pound becomes full.
These are vulnerable animals that have become reliant on human contact and food & that cannot fend for themselves.
I am without financial backup. I launched a project mission in 2019 to build a shelter to bring relief to these animals by placing them with their perfect families in the U.K. & Scotland predominately.
The opportunities that exist in the U.K. for rescue dogs do not happen here. Those wanting to adopt do not exist here.
These affectionate souls either enter the pound infirm, pass through the centre quickly like recycling rubbish or are young on arrival and old when they die in there. Euthanasia is considered ‘too much paperwork’ and many suffer unnecessarily the end.
I do not home feral dogs because there aren’t any.
These are displaced animals, once chained, never ‘owned’, discarded like ex-patspent cigarette packets & forgotten.
My objective is to liberate as many of them as possible from the pound & off the dusty roads.
I want to build a shelter to house the ones most at risk before they are lost in a system and shut down.
My end goal is not only to have my own rescue but to also have my own transport to ferry these dogs to safety and locations where families & children can view and adopt them. This is what your support will enable us to achieve together
Thank you
