Description:

St Fagans: First, come and explore the fascinating history of Wales at St Fagans National Museum of History, one of world’s leading open–air museums and Wales’s most-visited heritage attraction, located just outside Cardiff in the grounds of the magnificent St Fagans Castle. During the last fifty years, over fifty original buildings from different locations in Wales and from different historical periods have been re-built in the 100-acre parkland. Each building is frozen in time and opens a door into Welsh history offering a glimpse into the past. Find out more: https://museum.wales/stfagans

Cardiff Bay: Next, spend the afternoon experiencing Wales’ vibrant and exciting present at the stunning and fashionable Cardiff Bay. Regarded by many as the most successful regeneration project in the UK, the old docks of Cardiff have been transformed into the place to eat, shop and socialise! Situated right next to the sea, you’ll find a range of bars, restaurants and shops to enjoy with friends, old and new. You can also visit the Y Senedd – the Welsh Parliament building, The Wales Millenium Centre and The Norwegian church where author Roald Dahl was christened.
