Alpha @The Haven, Bay Campus

Interested In finding out more about the Christian Faith - then why not try Alpha? Taking place @The Haven, Bay Campus.⁠

We believe that everyone should have the chance to explore faith, ask questions and share their point of view. We begin with sharing food together, then watching some teaching materials and having a discussion.⁠

The course will start on Tuesday the 11th of October at 7pm in the Haven. It will be facilitated by Reverend Steve Bunting, Associate Chaplain and members of the Christian Union.⁠

Cancellation: Spaces are limited, so if you book a ticket but are not able to attend, please ensure you cancel this through your Fatsoma account. This will allow another person to take the space and avoid people missing out.

Conduct & Safety: You are responsible for your own behaviour and time keeping. Please take reasonable care of your own and other people's health and safety. If you have any concerns, please raise these to the event leader. In the event of an emergency situation, please ensure you contact the emergency services on 999.

Accessibility: This event has step-free access. If you have concerns or queries regarding the suitability of the event, or have any specific accessibility requirements, contact faith.campuslife@swansea.ac.uk as soon as possible. We will do our best to assist, however we cannot guarantee all requirements can be met.

Data Protection: Faith@CampusLife will use the information you provide for attendance and safety purposes. We will use your data to produce internal statistics but will not share it with third parties or use it for marketing purposes. Your information will be provided to our event leader for the purpose of attendance monitoring and emergency situations. The information will be kept confidential and passed back to ICL and destroyed (once we have passed the legally required COVID-19 Track & Trace period). Photos: We will be taking photos throughout the event which we will use to promote future activities in the form of leaflets, social media posts, digital screens and on our website. If you would not like to be included, then please tell us on the day of the event. If you see yourself in any pictures and would like to be removed, please email us at faith.campuslife@swansea.ac.uk and we will make sure that any photos of you are deleted.

COVID-19: You must not attend this event if you have tested positive for COVID-19 within the last 10 days, have been a close contact of another person with a confirmed case of COVID-19 within the last 10 days, have been advised to self-isolate, or are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19. If you have recently arrived in the UK, you must have completed any UK Government mandated quarantine period before attending this event.
