Expect to hear covers from:

As well as originals from the following amazing local bands: Collateral, The Starks Family Band, One Day Elliott and Pryma!
Everyone over the age of 12 attending the festival will need to show proof of a negative Covid test, even if they have had both vaccinations. Children under 12 are exempt.
You can get the lateral flow test kits for free via this link: https://www.gov.uk/order-coronavirus-rapid-lateral-flow-tests
Please ensure you take the test no more than 24 hours before the festival.
You then need to enter your test result in the NHS Test and Trace App which you can download via this link: https://www.covid19.nhs.uk/
If you are having trouble downloading the app, you can either bring the negative test with you or show us a photo of the negative test result. Please ensure you take a photo of you holding up the negative test next to your face so we can see it is you. :)
We want to ensure the event is safe for everyone, so as well as ensuring everyone has had a negative test, the event will only be at half capacity (5,000). This means if you are a little worried about space, you can still social distance if you wish.
If you have already brought a ticket and do not want to show proof of a negative Covid test then your tickets will be transferred over to next years event. Please email Katie@kidsrockfestival.co.uk if you wish to do this.
CASHLESS SYSTEM IS NOW LIVE!
https://kidsrockfestival.co.uk/cashless/
Due to the many moving parts at bringing a live event back, cashless payments are now recognised as the global best practice at festivals around the world.
For anyone who hasn’t used this technology before, basically, all the spending money you’ll need for the festival is stored on a chip as part of your wristband.
It’s similar to contactless payment, except you use your wristband to pay for everything while you’re on site, from a pint to a pie.
TOPPING UP:
The top-up portal for 2021 is now open!
MORE INFO AND HOW TO TOP UP: https://kidsrockfestival.co.uk/cashless/
You will need your ticket to hand to be able set up your account online.
Please note, you will need to make an individual account for each ticket holder, but if you are a family group you can have one account and distribute funds between your family members.
Your Top Up Options:
1. Choose a set amount of spending money to pre-load onto your wristband.
2. Select auto top-up to allow an automatic transfer of a set amount you choose to your wristband when you run out of spending money.
3. The festival top-up station will accept cash or card for wristband top ups, but we strongly recommend you to top up your wristband before you arrive at the festival so you can spend your time enjoying the festival rather than spending time at the top up station.
You can also continue to use your online account during the festival by using a phone with internet access to track your balance across the weekend, view your transactions, activate auto top up on the go and take advantage of one touch top up payments by securely saving your payment details on the online portal.
If you don’t want the hassle of driving so you can enjoy a responsible drink, we will be arranging a shuttle bus from Broadstairs train station to the festival for just £2 (plus £1 booking fee) per person for a return journey. The price is the same for children and adults but babies go free. Everyone will need a ticket.
Busses will run every 30 minutes from 9.30am-2pm then from 5pm-9.30pm
Bus tickets are pre book only.
Due to the increasing popularity of the Kids Rock Festival free on site car parking spaces are limited to 700 spaces. Only one car parking space per family will be available and only available to festival ticket holders.
If you wish to make use of the free on site car park, enter discount code: FreeParking2021 on the ticket platform. The free ticket will then appear, select 1, then continue to check out.
Please then show your car parking ticket and festival ticket to the parking stewards once you arrive. If you do not have both of these on you, you will not be able to use the free car park.
Free on site car park tickets are pre book only.
If you are an emergency service worker please enter the discount code: EMERGENCYSERVICES
You will then be entitled to free fast track entry to the festival with your family PLUS x 1 free drink at the main bar (does not include the cocktail bar). Free drink includes x1 beer, cider, wine or soft drink.
Only x 1 drink per emergency service worker.
Please print the ticket out and bring it with you. You must show your NHS Staff/Emergency Service ID AND the voucher to the stewards they will let you through the VIP entrance. Then to get your free drink please give the voucher to the main bar AND show them your NHS Staff/Emergency Service ID.
