The Jack Dash play three gigs a year at the Home Of Unpopular Music. They are our way of celebrating Christmas, Easter and late summer. They really have gone from strength to strength. Their last gig, which was postponed and was re-named “The Springtime Frolic”, was a riotous occasion. They lifted the roof! The band’s policy of opening the show with a short set and inviting local artists to appear as special guests has been a masterstroke. Come along and enjoy an evening of delicious rock n roll (and, er…other stuff)!
Fin Weatherill is an exciting young talent who blew us away at the recent “Nowt Specific” open mic. The band wasted no time in asking to come and play at their summer bash.
Our poet-in-residence, Doug Verrill, is back once again to provide that little bit of (Boro) culture.
