This event has been rescheduled to a new
date and time. Please see below.
In light of the government's latest advice for people to avoid non-essential contact, the New Adelphi Theatre will now be closed until further notice.
We understand how disappointed our audiences will be, but the health and wellbeing of our students, staff, audiences and artists is of the utmost importance to us.
We’ll be keeping our audiences up to date via our website and social media channels as to when we may be able to reschedule events.
Thank you for your patience and continued support during this difficult time.
CHORTLE'S TOP COMEDY SHOW OF 2019
‘Bark out loud funny...the whole show is startlingly live’ ★★★★ - Guardian
‘One of the balls-out funniest show of the Fringe’ ★★★★1/2 - Chortle
'Play your occult cards right and you’ll wake up laughing' ★★★★ Evening Standard
‘One of the darkest comedy shows I’ve seen...spectacular’ ★★★★1/2 - RGM
The twisted minds of Gein's Family Giftshop ('Brilliant' (Reece Shearsmith)) and sweaty bodies of Goose ('Brilliant' (Guardian)) combine to bring you something brand new: Tarot.
In the heart of Salford, a live tarot reading is held. Sketches spin out of the cards and, as the show finishes, the significance of the reading as a whole begins to come into focus. Come to have your faith restored in a dying art. Sketch, not Tarot.
An interactive, fast-paced sketch show inspired by and based on a love of tarot reading. What will the cards hold for you? You’ll also see sets from Goose and Gein's Family Giftshop. This is to save money on actual tour support and to prepare for their acrimonious breakup (like when your parents buy a duvet that splits into two).
Directed by award-winning comedian and writer Kiri Pritchard-McLean!
‘Deliciously dark and straight from the cobbled streets of Royston Vasey’ ★★★★ Skinny
