I am pleased to invite you to celebrate the grand opening of Tatale at The Africa Centre with an exclusive Friends and Family party on Saturday 9th July from 18:00 - 23:00.
Tatale is a Restaurant and Bar concept created by Akwasi Brenya-Mensa, telling contemporary Pan-African stories through Food, Art and Culture. The concept was born in Ghana and later developed in London and its namesake is a pancake made from Plantain — the ubiquitous ingredient found in African Diaspora cuisines right across the world. Akwasi considers it to be the culinary symbol of Black identity.
As you know, it's been a long, long road to get to this point and your support has been instrumental. So let's celebrate with Tatale canapés, some brilliant cocktails, DJs and a buffet-style meal. It'll be a chance for you to check out our newly renovated home at the iconic The Africa Centre, complete with our newly fitted restaurant, bar, beautiful outdoor terrace spaces and walls lined with African artwork, before we open to the public.
I look forward to seeing you there.
