GO! Social: International Students Welcome Q&A

International@CampusLife invites all you to join our GO! Social: International Students Welcome Q&A

Please note this event is for Swansea University Students and is not open to the public. A Valid Swansea University Student ID number will be required to complete your booking.

Date: Wednesday 9th February  2022

Time: 14:00 UK Local

Are you arriving here in Swansea for the first time? We know this can be a challenging time, and settling in top a new city, a new country and a new University all at once might feel a bit overwhelming.

Please join us for a relaxed, informal and friendly Question & Answer event with members of the International@CampusLife team.

The session is designed to give you the chance to ask questions about Swansea, about the wider UK, about the University or any other bits of information that might help you ease into your new home.

It's also a great chance to meet and make connections with others who are also starting out at Swansea University - you can share information and tips on how to settle in a new place, swap ideas on how to organise your study life – or simply just to have a chat and relax.

Please note this session is not for academic support - we're here to help you with life beyond your studies. There are no questions we haven't heard before (usually!) and if we don’t know the answer, we will try and point you in the right direction for your query!

We hope to see you there!

Don’t forget – Swansea University also offers access to Student Support Services, so if you or someone you know might need a little extra help and support, this service is available to you!

Description: We know that some of you are starting a course in January and it can be nerve-wracking and nervous time, so we wanted to give you a chance to come to an informal, friendly online hangout. This is a great chance to meet others and make connections with students who are also starting out at Swansea University. It’s also an opportunity to share information and tips on how to settle in a new place, swap ideas on how to organise your study life – or simply just to have a chat and relax. You can get involved as much – or as little – as you want.

Members of the International@CampusLife team will be there too, they’ll be able to answer some basic questions and about Swansea and support if you need it – if we don’t know the answer, we will try and point you in the right direction for your query!

We hope to see you there!

Don’t forget – Swansea University also offers access to Student Support Services, so if you or someone you know might need a little extra help and support, this service is available to you!
