Combining a strong visual aesthetic with a unique songwriting style, Manchester artist Max Hammond is beginning to accrue a steady fan base. While his image projects a charmingly laid-back positive outlook, his lyrical content contains mature themes surrounding morality, commitment and honesty under layers of distinctive guitar riffs and B sections. His style pushes a strange mix of indie, hip-hop, jazz and grunge which may see him explore characteristic realms covered by Gorillaz, Beck and Twenty One Pilots. Hammond is known for being a multi-instrumentalist and playing and recording all parts of his tracks. The first of which discusses social justice movements, fake news and internet surveillance. The second is an honest account of pain caused and regret felt. 2022 is expected to be a busy year for Max!
