NARCISSUS
With an output that has been described as both epic and anthemic, narcissus were the first band signed to Manchester label, 42’s Records and the release of ‘burning candles’ in 2019. They have since compiled the charity compilation album ‘MANC MADE///ACTS OF HOPE’ for which they contributed the track ‘Our City’ featuring the extraordinary talent of Manchester street poet Dave Viney. Bring on ‘lost causes’ on 42’s Records. A slab of dark electronica co produced by Donald ‘Dojo’ Johnson of Manchester music legends A Certain Ratio with a remix from UNE (Mark Radcliffe & Paul Langley) celebrating a late 80s Hacienda vibe. Following the successful ‘Cuttin Thru Red Tape’ which was heavily featured by John Kennedy (Radio X) came the single ‘Friends In High Places’. A modern slice of big sounding beats and strings featuring the sublime vocals of songstress Becki Fishwick. Narcissus' debut album 'A Sense Of Place' was released on 28th October to critical acclaim
