Roll up, roll up, Brixton’s Funk & Soul Christmas Carnival is in town as Brick City Funk and Brixton Jamm are cooking up a Winter extravaganza like no other!

On Saturday 17th December we will be spreading the festive spirit with our pals Norman Jay, The Reflex and good old St Nick all under one roof. Expect a touch of disco classics, a selection of funk hits and a groovy mix of soul slammers as we party through the final weekend before Christmas in style!

Norman Jay (MBE) [Good Times]It's difficult to pick a starting point, but to put it simply Norman, the 'Deejays DJ' has seen, done and conquered it all with groove. From growing up in West London listening to Ska, Reggae and Jazz, to securing a spot at Notting Hill Carnival for his hand built Good Times Sound System, to moving to New York and playing alongside Larry Levan and Frankie Knuckles, to helping launch Jocelyn Brown, Chaka Khan, Sharon Redd and Loleatta Holloway's careers, to launching a new label - Talkin Loud with his good friend Gilles Peterson, to playing all over the world for the likes of Thierry Henry, Will Smith, Prince, Mick Jagger and Robert De Niro, to winning pretty much every DJ award possible, to being awarded an MBE in Buckingham Palace and much much more... GOOD TIMES!!!
