The Correspondents Brixton Jamm Takeover

The Correspondents return to Brixton Jamm for 2017, but they won't be alone… We are excited to welcome The Nextmen, My Bad Sister + more as a selection of great artists hand picked by The Correspondents themselves to make this an unforgettable night.

- The Correspondents -

The Correspondents consist of a singer Mr Bruce and a producer Chucks. Both growing up in South London, they formed in 2007 and within two years had taken their hi-octane genre-blending dance music from house parties to festival main stages.The show that quickly established the duo as one of the best live acts in the UK has Mr Bruce assuming the look of a monochrome matador, singing with force, scatting at speed and dancing like his life depends on it while Chucks takes the audience on a journey through a multitude of genres from jazz and blues to the nether regions of electro and drum’n’bass. 

- The Nextmen -

The Nextmen are back ready to rock Brixton Jamm as they join The Correspondents with their definitive party sounds. You can expect to be swept up in a frenzy of sounds from Hip-Hop & Reggae to Jungle & House with a sprinkling of exclusives as Brad Baloo & Dom Search get stuck in. While not producing classics for some of the biggest names in the UK The Nextmen can be heard rocking festivals around the UK and beyond or exciting regular listeners to their hugely popular podcast.

- My Bad Sister -

Identical twins Polly and Sophie Duniam are a turbo-charged, all-singing and all-dancing duo making big waves on the European rave scene. The East London-born sisters are a creative force to be seriously reckoned with, mashing up traditional cockney-style performance with memorable melodies and heavy beats. A truly unforgettable live act, MBS’s razor-sharp mirrored choreography, boundary-pushing costumes and super-catchy lyrics have earned them some serious love on the scene.
