The Nextmen Presents: JammRock w/ Suggs (Madness), Freestylers, Dynamite MC + Many More

Introducing JammRock, a series of events curated by The Nextmen showcasing the music they love, artists they work closely with plus some special guests. May 7th sees none other than Suggs (from Madness) perform alongside Dynamite MC and The Nextmen themselves for the EP launch from Echo Fox, a new collaborative project formulated by pair.In a bid to get your feet moving they’ll be showcasing their best party pleasers, expect a fusion of hip hop, jungle, drum’n’bass, ska/pop and reggae roots.

The men of the night are well known for their influence on the UK music scene. The duo doesn’t just ascribe to one genre, but incorporates anything from Jamaica to Detroit into their musical artillery. 

Whilst based deeply in the traditions of Hip-Hop you can expect to hear House, Disco, Soul and of course some of the exclusive cuts which make The Nextmen the party starters of choice. Get your ears open and ready for the greatest party music you could hope to hear.

Carnival-friendly radical rudeboys The Freestylers. Known for seminal breakbeat and jungle workouts like B-Boy Stance, Ruffneck, Warning and Painkiller, the pair have been hard at work smashing festivals and destroying sound systems for close on two decades

- Suggs (Madness) 

It’s the guy with the ‘Baggiest Trousers’ around; Suggs. Singer, actor, former radio DJ, television and radio personality, it’s clearer than a ‘Blue day’ that there’s not much he can’t do. 

Having collaborated with alternative rock performers such as Morrissey, reggae artists General Levy and the Ska legend/trombonist Rico Rodriguez he’s bound to have you ‘Lovestruck’ in a heartbeat. 

Having toured some of the most prestigious venues and festivals in the UK, Europe and beyond, we can guarantee Suggs will be turning Jamm into the ‘House of Fun’! 

- Dynamite MC 

As if the lineup wasn’t varied enough, Dynamite MC, or Dominic Smith, joins us with the best in jungle and drum‘n’bass. Currently hosting a two-hour slot on Kiss 100 weekly, as well as the Fresh 40 R&B dance chart across several UK commercial radio station, this guy knows what he’s doing. He’s even interviewed names such as P Diddy, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Redman, Shaggy, the Pussy Cat Dolls, Ja Rule, Estelle, Chipmunk and many more. 

Hailing from all parts of the globe; Germany, Ireland, Brazil, Bristol and now London, Dynamite MC is one of the most prominent names in the game, impressive! And with a recently completed Reprazent album it’s no wonder why he’s been asked to join us on the beginning of this journey of parties which is sure to be one of the biggest in South London.
