Experience top quality live music, up close and personal in an intimate setting.

Alabama 3 Acoustic

Heeding Woodie Guthrie's maxim, Alabama 3 have never feared the reduction of their technology. Consequently, Alabama 3 acoustic is brave enough to go out on the road armed only with a battered acoustic guitar and harmonica, preaching Guthrie's word that 'this machine kills fascists.'

In homage to classic delta blues slide players like Mississippi Fred McDowell, Howling Wolf, John Lee Hooker and their own Rockfree Base, the stripped back 4 piece present their own narco-acoustic slant on Alabama 3 and the music that has inspired them along the way.

Complete with Larry Love's gravelly ash-stained vocals, Rev Be Atwell’s soul cry and Nick Reynolds bank robber melodies on harmonica, they provide a raucous show, which is in no way constrained by the boring maxim that often goes with acoustic gigs. Kick back and enjoy an acoustic arrangement of Alabama 3’s latest recordings along with their back catalogue of hits!

Galway Street Club

Ahead of their Bestival performance, Galway Street Club make their Brixton debut after playing shows around Ireland. Formed in 2016, Galway Street Club are a group of individual buskers who met on Shop Street, an area notorious for its fantastic street acts.

After working hard in the studio for two years, Galway Street Club have released their debut album Sovereign State Of Madness; a rousing, high energy, full blooded collection of rambunctious folk-rock, gypsy jazz, blues, roots, Irish trad and a meeting space between all these disparate genres. Expect a hard-hitting, energetic performance from Ireland’s most exciting band of the moment.

K.O.G & The Zongo Brigade

Under the leadership of the outrageously talented whirlwind of energy that is Kweku Sackey aka Ghanaian force of nature KOG, the 8-piece Zongo brigade deliver infectious, high-energy West African grooves, drawing on afrobeat, soul, funk, rock and reggae to create a totally original sound that leaves every crowd dripping with sweat and begging for more.

With KOG’s signature mix of songs, raps, operatic vocal effects and stage antics that would make Howling Wolf blush, backed up by hard-hitting patois raps from Jamaican Franz Von Song, and a dedicated band of serious musical badmen, the band have played some huge stages including Glastonbury West Holts, Reading and Leeds Festival, and clubs and venues across Europe with big things on the horizon.
