Ticket holders must have both regular and UoP identification, UoP customers can bring in up to two non uni guests but must know them well and will have responsibility for their actions. Guests will need their own tickets.

University of Portsmouth Varsity After Party

The games have been played, the competitions have been fought and the rivalry will continue. Portsmouth vs Southampton varsity 2024 is set to be the biggest ever and the legendary after party has been announced.

Portsmouths favourite nightclub is set to host it, the Astoria will be exclusively open on Sunday 27th for UoP students and their guests (same as purple Wednesday), it’s free entry when wearing your varsity t-shirt or wristband before 10pm. Please note you can gain access to the Astoria through either Tokyo joes or Astoria, BUT Tokyo joes is also open to the general public, you will require UoP identification to gain access to The Astoria.

Arrive in good time as this event is always busy early.

Don’t forget there’s also a bar in the daytime for varsity on both the Saturday and Sunday at Varsity Village behind the students union / library.
